§ 3-3-120. Purposes of article; authority.

(a)

This article is enacted in accordance with a plan designed for the purpose, among others, of promoting the health and general welfare of the community, to establish reasonable and ascertainable standards for the regulation and control of pawnshops or similar places where money is advanced on goods or other effects, merchandise or personal property of any kind.

(b)

This article is enacted pursuant to the authority of O.C.G.A. § 36-1-20.
