§ 3-4-202. Resisting, obstructing or following police.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to resist any police officer, any member of the police department, or any other person duly empowered with police authority, while in the discharge of his duty, or apparent discharge of his duty, or in any way interfere with, obstruct or hinder him in the discharge of his duty. No person shall follow any police officer, while in charge of any prisoner, after such person has been commanded to desist such following, or after any crowd has been commanded to disperse.
