§ 3-4-501. Standards for installation and alteration of alarm systems.
The installation and alteration of alarm systems shall be in accordance with Article 760 "Fire Protective Signaling Systems" of the National Electrical Code, NFPA #70-1975 and the following NFPA standards:
(1)
Standard 71—Standard for the installation, maintenance, and use of central station signaling systems.
(2)
Standard 72-B—Standard for the installation, maintenance, and use of auxiliary protective signaling systems for fire alarm service.
(3)
Standard 72-C—Standard for the installation, maintenance, and use of remote station protective signaling system.
(4)
Standard 72-D—Standard for the installation, maintenance, and use of remote station protective signaling systems for watchman, fire alarm, and supervisory service.
(5)
Standard 72-E—Standard on automatic fire detectors.
(6)
Standard 74—Standard for the installation, maintenance, and use of household fire warning equipment.
