§ 2-2-52. Change orders and contract modifications.

(1)

The county manager shall have the authority to approve change orders in special purpose local option sales tax (SPLOST), capital projects, public works and road construction contracts up to five (5) percent of the total contract, not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00).

(2)

For purposes of these provisions, "change order" means an alteration, addition or deduction from the original scope of work as defined in the contract documents to address changes or unforeseen conditions necessary for project completion.
