§ 2-4-46. Penalties.
(a)
Every owner of a mobile home in the county on January 1 who fails to pay the taxes and display the decal as required by this article by May 1 shall be guilty of a violation of this article. Upon conviction thereof, the owner shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), except that upon receipt of proof of purchase of a decal prior to the date of the issuance of a summons, the fine shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
(b)
Any owner who locates, or permits or be located, a mobile home in the county after January 1 and who fails to secure, attach and display thereon a decal as required by this article within thirty (30) days shall be guilty of a violation of this article. Upon conviction thereof, the owner shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), except that upon receipt of proof of purchase of a decal prior to the expiration of the thirty-day period within which to obtain same, the fine shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
