§ 3-13-1. Domesticated animals in county parks—Definitions.

  • For the purposes of this Code section, the following definitions shall apply:

    Domesticated animals means any animal that lives in, near or about the habitation of and under the care of human beings.

    Pets means any domesticated animal or other animal that is kept by any human being for the pleasure of the keeper rather than the utility of the animal.

    Public park means a tract or parcel of land owned or leased by Henry County or over which Henry County maintains dominion and is used for recreation by the general public.
