§ 3-3-28. Exemption for veterans.

Veterans of the armed forces of the United States may apply for free license; providing, they are drawing a permanent disability pension of one hundred (100) percent and have a certificate of eligibility from the Georgia Department of Veterans Services. This shall be verified by the office of the probate court of the county. Only one free permit shall be issued to each veteran and it shall authorize the operation of only one business. The veteran must be the sole owner of the business for which the permit is issued and meet all prescribed codes and regulations as set forth by the board of commissioners.
