§ 3-5-112. Termination of licenses.

  • (a)

    A license may be revoked, suspended or canceled by mutual agreement between the county and license at any time. Licensees may surrender licenses by giving a sixty-day notice to the occupational tax office, as agent for board of commissioners, and furnishing proof all advance payments of customers have been used by providing a service or the unused portion of the period service has been refunded.

    (b)

    The occupational tax office, as agent for the board of commissioners, shall notify a licensee of any violations of this article. Upon notification of the alleged violation, a licensee shall have four (4) calendar days to cure such condition of violation. If licensee fails to cure the violation within four (4) days, a hearing shall be held before the board of commissioners with the licensee being notified in writing as to the time and place of the hearing and the nature of the violation. The hearing shall be conducted within thirty (30) days.

    (c)

    Licenses are nontransferable.
